This is an editorial written for WRIT 1622, Advanced Writing and Rhetoric. It was the first big assignment for that class, designed to emphasize appealing to the rhetorical situation using discourse communities. In this case, we had to appeal to the opposing side of our opinion.

This project was the culmination of WRIT 1733, Honors Writing. Throughout the quarter, we wrote three blog articles on a topic of interest, mine being Disney World. At the end, we synthesized all the material into a video, crossing mediums to present information.

For the final project in WRIT 2000, Theories of Writing, we had to carry out our own research project that demonstrated a theory of writing. I selected the writing processes of undergraduate students with different majors, looking for variance across their processes.

This piece is lab report written for BIOL 2511, the General Genetics Lab. It's over a lab that sought to map a specific gene on an E. coli chromosome and that looked at gene transfer between two different strains. It has a lot of jargon, but it demonstrates my ability to write scientifically, which is a very different genre than most writers are accustomed to.

This essay was written for ALI - Elec 360, A Survey of Spanish Literature. It was done during my time studying in Spain, and it's purpose is to summarize the plot and analyze the different themes of La Familia de Pascual Duarte, a novel written by Camilo Jose Cela. I wrote it in Spanish, thus demonstrating my abilities within that language.
