This essay was done in WRIT 2050, Style and Rhetorical Grammar. It is a review of Textual Intervention: Critical and Creative Strategies for Literary Studies by Rob Pope. The purpose of the assignment was to analyze a book that teaches writing, thinking about who would benefit the most from it and what the author is trying to impress upon the reader regarding writing.

This was a project also from WRIT 2050. As the name of the project suggests, it is a manifesto. Throughout the quarter in this class, we looked and used varying methods of learning and teaching writing, including diving into our own personal experiences with language exploration. To culminate, we wrote our own manifestos on how we think writing, specifically style and grammar, should be taught.
